April 23 Update: MeowStack has just learned that Snickers and Midnight were adopted by a wonderful human! We are so happy for these two sweet kitties and their lucky, lucky human!
What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?
We are foster cats Snickers and Midnight, a bonded bundle of Yin and Yang and a whole lot of character and sweetness.
I’m Midnight, the extrovert with emerald eyes. I might as well be named Shadow, for I travel wherever my foster goes, regaling her with stories and sharing opinions from my obviously fascinating lie.
My best friend Snickers is the introvert, and he approaches life with inquisitive caution. He warms slowly but loves deeply. While he enjoys a good brushing, wriggling and rolling to the touch, he returns the favor by grooming his human, using his front paw to gently hold a hand.

How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?
Our first human could no longer provide for our needs. He surrendered us to a warm, cozy shelter where we could eat all we wanted without fear of predators. A kind volunteer who was cleaning kennels noticed how Snickers cowered in the litter box while I paced and meowed. She felt we'd thrive together in her foster home. One day she bundled us up and carried us home.

What is the most amusing way you confound your human?
We often use manipulation to get our foster human to pay attention. Snickers was the first to show his foster how gentle he could hold paw to hand and often reaches out with a tender touch to her shoulder as she types at the computer. He nestles on the couch top behind her and rests his paw on her shoulder.
I’m not so silent about my attention seeking requests. I will sit by her chair, meow sweetly, and gaze deeply with my green eyes as I stretch my paw to her leg. We both love sunbeams and move with the rays as they travel through the house.

By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?
Who can resist a handsome pair of gentleman like us? Snickers, with his rich caramel hues and I, who shine like an onyx pendant adorned with emeralds. Both of us are sugar-sweet.

What else does the world need to know about you?
Snickers is eight years old. I’m twelve. We’re available for adoption in Minnesota, U.S.A. through www.pethavenmn.org. We need an experienced cat lover to be our new human. I take two medications, one for hyperthyroidism, the other for inflammatory bowel disease. I’ve responded so well to both meds that I’ve gained weight and am in wonderful health. I’m not a ballistic cat, so giving medicine has been easy.
