Hello all! Annie and Talula are very honored to be featured on MeowStack. They are, after all, the main contributors to our household. 😂 Thanks so much to Robin and the MeowStack team for featuring my sweet babies! Hope you are having a good(ish?) week! -

MeowStack is always looking for new kitties to feature. Featured kitties are never sponsored, and we don’t charge for submissions. We just want to meet your cat! Finally, a way to give your feline overlord the respect, admiration, and worship they so obviously deserve:

Annie and Talula, two cats snuggled together on a bed. Annie, a sleek black cat with wide green eyes, sits alert while Talula, a brown tabby, is curled in a crescent shape around her like a living scarf, peacefully asleep with her head resting on Annie’s side.

What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?

There are two of us, and we are sisters...

1. My name is Annie. I am the most magnificent creature because I am a most regal hauspanther even though my mom says I am a "big goofball"… whatever that means. My special talent is I do tricks (for Churu only).

2. My name is Talula. I am the most magnificent creature because unlike the idiot humans I live with, I am a skilled hunter. To date, I have killed one mouse, countless roaches, tons of flies, and as of this morning, a big moth. What do the humans even DO? I'm pretty sure I am smarter than both of them.

Annie, the sleek black cat, lounges on a bed with her front leg gently draped over Talula, the tabby cat, who is lying in front of her with eyes closed in peaceful rest. Annie gazes calmly at the camera while Talula stretches out contentedly, their bodies intertwined in a relaxed, affectionate pose.

How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?

ANNIE: I don't really know, but one day mommy and daddy came to where I was, and I was in a cage. Mommy was crying and holding Talula, and next thing I knew I was in a cardboard box; it was real scary. Then I got out of the box and was in my house, and I decided that this was my family and that was that.

TALULA: An insane woman (my mother) came into the adoption van and woke me up from a nap, and then dragged me and my sister back to her house. I did not ask for this, but the humans basically do whatever I want them to do, so I guess it's fine.

Annie, a sleek black cat with striking green eyes, lounges regally atop a beige carpeted cat perch. One front paw dangles gracefully over the edge, and she gazes directly at the camera with calm intensity. Behind her on the wall is a white-framed artwork of paper butterflies which she has knocked askew.

What is the most amusing way you confound your human?

ANNIE: Sometimes — I don't know why — I get super crazy and run around at top speed and jump off stuff. Mom says its "parkour" whatever that is. Oh, also, they hate it when I get a roll of paper towels and bunny kick it with my back legs. Then I roll around in it. Oh and sometimes I throw up because I eat too fast.

TALULA: Screaming at them to pet me and then running away from them when they try.

Talula lies on her side atop a grey blanket as a human hand caresses her fur. Her eyes are wide and she looks content, one fang poking out beyond her lip.

By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?

ANNIE: Through cuteness and snuggles probably, and also I’m pretty sure Churu gives me super strength.

TALULA: Once I figure out how to get out of here, you'll see.

What else does the world need to know about you?

ANNIE: My sissy is my best friend in the whole wide world. I love mommy and daddy, but I love sissy best. The one day we were apart was the most terrible-est day of my WHOLE LIFE.

TALULA: My sister can be annoying, but she annoys me less than both of the humans. She can be very dumb but she's good at cuddling. I guess we all have our talents.
