What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?
My name is Ziggy Stardust. I was bestowed this title when my supplicants acknowledged that Scout, the name initially given to me by the shelter, was laughable given my vocal range, enormous ears, and otherworldly charisma.
How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?
My supplicants came to the shelter to visit a lesser cat, but then saw me. I had just been transferred from another shelter, and was releasing a torrent of mighty meows to lament the unsuitability of my lodgings. My vocal stylings proved impossible to ignore.
What is the most amusing way you confound your human?
I claim every piece of furniture initially purchased for my supplicants' use. For example, they reupholstered a chair and bought an ottoman, thinking they could sit and read comfortably with their feet propped up. They quickly recognized the error of their ways and installed a bed and heated pad for me on the ottoman, as well as a felted cat hut for me on the chair.
By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?
Oh that. I delegated world domination to Fergus the Fern, who appears to be making good progress. When he falls behind, I offer encouraging murder chirps to spur him on.
What else does the world need to know about you?
I will only get under the covers with you if you prop them up with an e-reader to provide adequate light. Also, you must allow me to use your chest as a pillow and knead your neck — I promise not to fully deploy my claws. Unless, of course, I feel like it.
