What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?
Mittens. Although I was apparently the runt of the litter, I have clearly grown into the most beautiful creature ever. My fur is soft and shiny, with only occasional patches of dandruff, and my face is beautifully triangular.
How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?
They were only going to have one cat, but there were two of us left at the breeders and they said they couldn't leave me behind. Lucky for them really, as I'm way better than my daft-but-pretty sister.
What is the most amusing way you confound your human?
I like to catch my tail and also the odd sofa. I am a master in leaping into recently vacated seats and making it look like I've been asleep there for hours. I also use my litter tray at the same time that my owner uses the loo: she loves those bonding moments.
By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?
I've heard my owner admit that I make the delights of having a teenager in the house manageable. And she definitely prefers me over the husband.
What else does the world need to know about you?
They totally overpaid for me. I don't know what breed I am - Applehead Siamese, maybe? - but I'm definitely not the Ragdoll they were promised. Try and get me to flop when you pick me up: I'll have your hand off.
