What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?

Charmin and Cottonelle are our names, and we are twins who rescued our human and her mother with dementia during Covid. We have worked tirelessly to end anxiety in their home ever since.

How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?

We went to a shelter after we were found cold and wet with no mother. It was very scary, and we didn’t like it. Our humans sort of magically came and picked us up the next day and took us to our new home. We like it here.

What is the most amusing way you confound your human?

We help each other to do naughty things by letting one distract our humans while the other one snitches a ball of yarn or something, because those are heinous and must be destroyed. Then we both run off with our loot.

By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?

We will rise up to sing the song of our people, calling ceaselessly for more daily meals and snacks. No cat will hunger again, and all beings will worship us.
