MeowStack #22: Kevin and Luisa are everything you didn't know you needed

What is your name, and why are you the most magnificent creature in the universe?
My name is Sir Lee Dorkevinton, but I go by Kevin. I am a British Shorthair and am 9 months old. I’ve been told my coat is “golden shaded,” also known as “British Chinchilla.” I have a sister, Luisa that is my best friend and most trusted feline companion. Her full name is Luisa Penelope Jewel.
My coat is a little darker than my sister’s and I can be seen sporting a green collar in some of the pictures and videos on our human’s Substack.
Luisa’s coat is a little lighter than mine. She also has more of a scrunched face and she can be seen sporting a magenta collar in some of the pictures and videos on our human’s Substack.
How did you choose your human to be your supplicant?
We were born on June 27th, 2024, to a cattery in Sandy, Oregon. The story goes, our humans saw photos of us on the website and decided we were the most adorable kittens the world had ever seen. Luisa and I were bonded very early on and our humans decided we must stay together. We agreed immediately.
What is the most amusing way you confound your human?
Unlike my sister, I am fascinated with water. I like to play with my water bowls, play in the various sinks in the house and hop in the bath all on my own. My sister and I like to hang out on the edge of the tub while our humans are showering. Luisa is a lot more laid back than I am. She usually just watches me being a dork until it’s nap time and then she snuggles with me and suckles my ears. I’m not sure how I feel about the suckling, but I deal with it because it comforts her. She also loves all things boxes, bags and baskets.
By what means will you inevitably achieve world domination?
My sister and I will achieve world domination by seizing the hearts of all who look upon us. My trick is to push my upside-down button when my human is near. They can’t resist me while I’m laying on my back and must come in for loves. Luisa has a similar trick. All she has to do is squeak with her tiny, sweet little voice and our humans come running. They’re just too easy.
What else does the world need to know about you?
There was an elder cat in this house before. His name was Karl. We can still smell him. He guides us from afar. We can tell our humans miss him dearly but are so very glad they found us.
